Alice is on the road!

#Aliceinthecuckoosnest

Last week we officially opened our tour of Alice in the Cuckoo's Nest at the exquisite Bristol Central Reference Library, and the first eight shows have flown by - we can't quite believe that we're about to be leaving the South-West already, after our show in Plymouth Library tomorrow evening (Saturday 11th November). A huge thank you to all the librarians who have hosted us so far in Bristol and Somerset.

We have had some fantastic audiences so far, as well as extremely valuable post-show Q&A sessions. Alice in the Cuckoo's Nest is at heart a re-telling of Lewis Carroll's stories, but the production deals with the very important issue of mental health and it's vital that we continue the discussion with audiences beyond our Alice's story. We're already humbled to see what a powerful impact the show is having.

Next week we'll be visiting several venues in London: Brixton Library, Victoria Library, Preston Community Library in Brent, Clapham Library and Leytonstone Library. Our one-off show in Dorking Library (Surrey) next Saturday has very nearly sold out, and others are selling fast, so book now to avoid disappointment!

That's all for now - except to say a big thank you to Jonathan Last for putting together a beautiful teaser trailer for us - check it out now on the Youtube!
